Thanks Mariah. My blog will probably be more appealing to the skeptics and the survivors. Most people into LOA will tell me that the blog probably manifested my bankruptcy: a lot of negative talk after all…. Unlike world religions, I’m not interested in converting folks. I AM interested in letting the skeptics and survivors know that their somebody shares their views on the BS that’s out there.

Britt- this is so good! Somehow I missed this post when I was devouring your blog awhile ago. I love it!

I still have many online friends who are into “the law of attraction” stuff and Abraham-Hicks, and when I hear them talk about their manifestations, I can hardly believe I ever thought that way myself! Really, you manifested that green light? It didn’t just change because it had been red for awhile?

That woman Meryl posts on the Abe Forum from time to time (mostly to promote her book and tell people she’s got an article up on the Huffington Post.)

I love the sub-genre of Law of Attraction material where writers take pains to explain that this or that does not invalidate the law of attraction.

Well, it would have to be valid in order to be invalidated, wouldn’t it?

Some of us who have come out of the law of attraction “haze” of trying to think ourselves thinner and richer actually find that following a proper diet or dedicating oneself to work in order to earn income is a fine way to live, after all!

It is mind-blowing, isn’t it? Jerry and Esther Hicks of Abraham-Hicks fame have written that they wouldn’t even want to help someone who they knew was “vibrating lack.” There’s an interview http://www.rickross.com/reference/general/general946.html where Jerry Hicks says that they had given money to a waitress, she was grateful an shared that she was about to lose her apartment. He said they wouldn’t have given it to her if she’d told them that. Huh? (Hmmm, if she had “losing apartment” active in her vibration, how did she attract all that cash from the Hicks’?)
